About Us
Welcome to McCuddles, a small company based in London with a big mission: bringing hugs to you when you need them the most. A hug isn’t just a gesture; it’s science. Hugging releases oxytocin, the "love hormone" known to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and boost immunity. Our toys are thoughtfully designed to replicate this soothing effect using Deep Pressure Stimulation, a proven therapeutic technique that activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping your body enter a calm, “rest and digest” state.
We’re not just here to sell comfort, we’re here to support your mental health journey. To create a supportive community and build compassionate knowledge for anyone navigating anxiety, stress, fear, worry, and other mental health challenges. Through our blog and newsletter, we share evidence-based techniques, self-care tips, and soothing practices that can help you. Read some of the ways we have helped our clients feel safer, calmer and happier. Or read some of our blogs here.
We hope McCuddles brings you the warmth and support you deserve — whenever you need it most.
With care,
The McCuddles Team
Sleepy Head
My son would not sleep in his own room, he used to cry and fidget all night or until he got to come back to our room. We started to lay a McCuddle down with him, the weight gives him comfort and reassurance as though I’m right there with him through the night. He carries his cow everywhere and will not leave it alone when he is playing or when he goes to bed. It has even been given its own chair at his little table for dinner time. Short of having a pet its the best companion he could have.

500 miles
I have been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for over an year. While it has been a fantastic relationship it has not always been easy due to the distance. He got me Marmalade the cow for my birthday and it has been so comforting. Obviously it’s not having him to cuddle, but it has very much become our baby. It is always there after a hard day or even when I cannot speak to him due to time difference. I really love warming it and cuddling it when we sleep on face time because it is like having a piece of him to hold on to.

A Cuddle and a Cry
I have PCOS and sometimes struggle with the pain when I get my period. My cramps are really intense and overwhelming. My cuddly cow is perfect for when I just want to be alone and don’t want to see people. I can just curl up in bed with my warmed toy and let it out. It is easy to heat and it lasts quite a long time particularly when in bed under the covers. Normally, once I am feeling a little better I use it to warm my feet.

Take A Chill Pill
My mother suffers from hot flushes, they can just happen from nothing and she gets really uncomfortable. My brother and I recently got her one of these cuddly toys that we keep in the freezer. She can grab this cool down, it is not as harsh as a bag of peas, which is really too cold. These do not get super cold but give a gentle consistent cooling that she prefers.
